How we review Medicube
We are an independent guide, not Medicube. No sponsored placements, no invented star ratings, and no pretending a serum changed our life. Here is exactly what we do and what we do not do.
What we actually use
- Real customer ratings and review counts. A serum with tens of thousands of ratings at 4.6 tells you something a glossy launch campaign cannot. Volume matters as much as the score.
- Dated prices. Every price on this site carries the date we read it from Amazon. It is a snapshot from that date, not a live figure. Medicube runs frequent bundle deals, so check the date beside the price and expect the current price on Amazon to differ.
- One source, said plainly. Right now every rating and review count on this site comes from Amazon and nowhere else. We would like to cross-check against other retailers, because a product loved on Amazon and rated lower elsewhere tells you something. We have not done that work yet, so we do not claim it.
- Ingredients and skin-type fit. This is skincare, so we look past the star rating to the actual formula: the active (PDRN, collagen, niacinamide, PHA), the concentration where it is stated, and who a product suits or irritates. Cost per use and per ml usually matters more than the sticker price.
What we do not do
- We do not invent ratings. If a product has no meaningful reviews yet, it is labelled as a new listing rather than given a made-up score.
- We do not call a 3-star product a holy grail. Our write-ups match the actual data. A mixed rating gets described as mixed.
- We do not take payment for placement. Medicube cannot buy a spot or a kinder verdict, and we are in no way affiliated with the brand.
- We never show a price without its date. Prices move constantly, so we show when we read it and tell you to check Amazon for today's figure.
- We do not fake hands-on testing. Where a verdict is based on aggregated ratings and ingredient analysis rather than our own use, that is exactly what we say.

How we choose what to compare
A comparison only earns a page if it is genuinely useful. That means two things: within-range picks (which Age-R device, PDRN or Collagen, serum or ampoule) where the choice is real and confusing, and honest dupe comparisons where a cheaper or better-known product delivers the same active. If a comparison would help nobody, we do not manufacture it.
How we make money

Keeping it current
Ratings, review counts and prices are refreshed with each data pull and every one of them is shown with the date we read it. Nothing on this site is fetched live as you load the page. Our product data was last refreshed on 30 September 2026. We currently track 102 products across 9 categories, and we would rather cover fewer things properly than list everything badly.
