Reviewers describe a watery, faintly slippery liquid that hydrates instead of stripping, with no detectable fragrance and no burn, which several contrast with harsher acne products they had used before. Calmer, smaller blemishes by the following morning is a recurring report, usually from people using the matching cleanser and serum. Nobody claims overnight clearing. The exceptions worth naming: one reviewer with heavy oil production found it too mild to do much, one oily-skinned user broke out after applying it liberally overnight, and one received a cracked cap plus crystalline residue around the nozzle.

What the ingredient order actually tells you

• The front of this list matches the front of the label. Azelaic acid sits third and niacinamide fourth, directly behind water and propylene glycol, and the name itself declares 4% azelaic acid with 2% niacinamide.
• Sodium hydroxide at fifth is not a red flag. It is the pH adjuster azelaic acid needs to sit comfortably in a watery toner.
• The supporting cast is genuinely supporting: a peptide at 17th, centella 31st, hyaluronic acid 32nd, and ceramides at 41st and 57th of 63. No fragrance entry appears at all.
• The only alcohol on the list is cetearyl alcohol at 37th, the fatty, non-drying kind.

Our read

One of the more honest labels in the Medicube range. The two actives on the front of the bottle are the second and third things in the water, and everything else knows its place. If azelaic acid and niacinamide are what you came for, the order says you are getting them.

Who should skip this

• You already use a prescription azelaic product. Doubling up buys you nothing new here.
• You are choosing it for the ceramide and centella support. At 41st, 57th and 31st those read as garnish, not the point.
• You want a bland, active-free hydrating toner. This is an acid-led formula by design.
