What the ingredient order actually tells you

• The front of the list is exactly what a chemical sunscreen should be: organic UV filters and their booster stacked from second to fifth, straight after water. The salicylate at fourth is an SPF booster in that system, not an exfoliating acid.
• The skincare cast from the front of the tube lives at the back of the list: niacinamide 26th, ceramide 27th, collagen at 30th and 37th, centella 34th, hyaluronic acid 35th and the peptide last at 38th of 38.
• Cetearyl alcohol at 14th is the fatty, non-drying kind, and no fragrance appears on the list, which is rarer than it should be in glow-finish sun care.

A textbook chemical sunscreen with a collagen sticker on it. Filters own the front, the marketing cast owns the final positions, and that is precisely how a sunscreen should be built, so the only quarrel is with the hybrid-skincare framing. Buy it for the protection and the finish; the peptide at 38th is a rounding error.

Who should skip this

• You want a mineral sunscreen. The filter system here is entirely chemical.
• You are paying extra for collagen and peptides. Those entries sit 30th, 37th and 38th of 38.
• Chemical filters such as octocrylene disagree with your skin or eyes. They are the bulk of this formula, from second to fifth.
