What the ingredient order actually tells you

• This one is refreshingly honest. It is sold as a clay mask and it is one: kaolin sits second and bentonite third. Those two clays are the product.
• The acids on the label are garnish: salicylic acid sits 39th and glycolic 40th of 50. Do not expect real chemical exfoliation from positions like that.
• Hyaluronic acid at sixth is doing the counter-drying work, which is why this feels less stripping than classic clay masks.

Our read

A genuine kaolin-bentonite clay mask with a hydration cushion, best read as an oil and blackhead degreaser rather than an exfoliating treatment. For oily or combination skin once or twice a week, the formula matches the job.

Who should skip this

• Your skin is dry or reactive. Clay is a degreaser by nature, and no hyaluronic cushion fully offsets that.
• You want the acids to do something. At 39th and 40th they are label decoration; the Zero Pore toner pads carry the real acid dose in this range (on Amazon US they are sold as a bundle).
• You expect it to shrink pores permanently. No mask does; this clears and degreases them temporarily.
