Medicube Body and Hair Care: Which Products Are Worth Buying?
By the Medicube Picks editorial team · product data refreshed 29 October 2026 · how we rank
We have not tested the products in this guide. Everything here is read from the listings, the published ingredient lists and what buyers report, not from hands-on use. What that means.
Medicube body and hair care is a newer, smaller part of the range, built from the same ingredient families as the face products: kojic acid and turmeric for tone, exfoliating acids for rough skin, and rosemary with PDRN for the scalp. This guide compares every Medicube body and hair product we track, reads each published ingredient list, and picks the best option for rough texture, uneven tone, and scalp and hair.
We track 16 Medicube body and hair products on Amazon.com; 11 of them have a full published ingredient list, and every list-based figure below comes from those.
Which Medicube body and hair products are worth buying?
Buy the body products for a specific problem, rough and bumpy skin or uneven tone, rather than as an everyday wash for skin that is already fine. Judge the hair products on how your scalp feels, not on promises about growth. These are the best-rated options for each need:
- Rough, bumpy skin on the body: Medicube Kojic Acid Turmeric Smoothing Toner for Face & Body. Turmeric sits 7th of 31 on its list; glycolic acid sits 3rd.
- Uneven tone on the body: Medicube Kojic Acid Turmeric Brightening Body Wash. Kojic acid sits 21st of 31 on its list; salicylic acid (BHA) sits 12th.
- Scalp and hair: Medicube Rosemary PDRN Clarifying Thickening Shampoo. PDRN sits 67th of 107 on its list; salicylic acid (BHA) sits 18th.

Which Medicube body and hair products contain exfoliating acids?
8 of the 11 Medicube body and hair products with a published list carry at least one of the exfoliating acids we track: BHA, AHAs, PHAs or azelaic acid.
Where each acid sits:
- Kojic Acid Turmeric Smoothing Toner for Face & Body: glycolic acid 3rd of 31
- Kojic Acid Turmeric Brightening Body Wash: salicylic acid (BHA) 12th of 31
- Body Peel Shot with Kojic Acid and Turmeric: salicylic acid (BHA) 19th, gluconolactone 20th of 39
- Rosemary PDRN Clarifying Thickening Shampoo: salicylic acid (BHA) 18th, gluconolactone 41st, glycolic acid 45th of 107
- Red Body Peeling Shot: lactic acid 2nd, gluconolactone 4th, salicylic acid (BHA) 14th of 44
- Rosemary PDRN Scalp to Strand Thickening Conditioner: salicylic acid (BHA) 19th of 83
- Scalp Serum with Rosemary PDRN: gluconolactone 20th, glycolic acid 25th, salicylic acid (BHA) 34th of 90
- Kojic Acid Turmeric Jelly To Foam Cleanser: salicylic acid (BHA) 10th of 42
3 list none of those acids. A product can still exfoliate in other ways, through plant extracts or a rub-off gel texture, which an ingredient list cannot measure:
Which Medicube body and hair products contain drying alcohol?
6 of the 11 Medicube body and hair products with a published list include a drying alcohol such as alcohol denat:
- Body Peel Shot with Hypochlorous Acid: alcohol denat 2nd of 35
- Scalp Serum with Rosemary PDRN: alcohol denat 2nd of 90
- Body Peel Shot with Kojic Acid and Turmeric: alcohol 3rd of 39
- Red Body Peeling Shot: alcohol 3rd of 44
- Zero Pore Peel Pads 8EA, Face & Body Exfoliating: alcohol denat 10th of 41
- Rosemary PDRN Scalp to Strand Thickening Conditioner: alcohol denat 12th of 83
In the first ten places it helps a product feel light and dry down fast, and it can leave reactive skin tight. Fatty alcohols such as cetearyl alcohol are a different thing and are not counted here.
What Medicube body care is for
Medicube body care is for two problems: rough, bumpy texture on the arms, legs and back, and uneven tone in places such as underarms, knees and elbows. The body peel shots and the kojic acid products tackle those with exfoliating acids and brightening ingredients from the same families as the face range.
Rough, bumpy skin on the backs of the arms is often keratosis pilaris, a harmless build-up of keratin around hair follicles. Regular gentle exfoliation and moisturizer keep it smoother, and it returns when you stop, so think of it as maintenance rather than a cure.
What to expect from Medicube hair and scalp care
Medicube hair and scalp care is a cosmetic scalp range built around rosemary and PDRN. Expect a cleaner, more comfortable scalp and softer lengths. Treat claims about thicker or fuller-looking hair as the brand's own, and see a doctor about hair loss, which has medical causes a scalp serum cannot reach.
How to use Medicube body products
Use the body peel shots and acid body products in the evening, two or three times a week, on dry skin after a shower, and follow with a plain body lotion. Skip freshly shaved or waxed skin for a day, since acids sting on skin with tiny nicks.
Give a brightening body wash a minute of lather on the skin before rinsing if you are using it for tone, and wear sunscreen on any treated area that sees the sun.
Who should skip which Medicube body and hair products
Every product we read in full has a note on who it does not suit. These are the notes for the body and hair products not picked above:
- Body Peel Shot with Hypochlorous Acid: Your body skin is dry, flaky or eczema-prone. Denatured alcohol at second is a solvent-level placement, not a trace.
- Body Peel Shot with Kojic Acid and Turmeric: Your body skin is dry, eczema-prone or freshly shaved. Alcohol at third plus acids is the wrong welcome.
- Kojic Acid & Turmeric Aluminum-Free Deodorant for Women: You expect to stay dry. There are no antiperspirant salts here by design.
- Red Body Peeling Shot: Your body skin is sensitive or eczema-prone. Lactic acid sits second and alcohol third.
- Rosemary PDRN Scalp to Strand Thickening Conditioner: Fragrance on the scalp bothers you. It sits 11th, above every named active.
- Scalp Serum with Rosemary PDRN: Your scalp is sensitive, broken or already irritated. Alcohol denat at second plus menthol at eighth is a punishing combination.
Common questions
Does the Medicube kojic acid body wash lighten skin?
It is sold for uneven tone, not to lighten your overall skin color. A wash spends little time on the skin, so any change in marks or dark patches is slow, and sunscreen on exposed areas matters more than the wash.
Can you use Medicube body peel shots on your face?
Follow the label: the body versions are sold for body skin, which is thicker, and the face range has its own shots. Our exosome and peel shot guide compares the face versions.
Is the Medicube scalp serum a hair-loss treatment?
No. It is a cosmetic scalp serum. Sudden or patchy hair loss has medical causes, and a doctor or dermatologist is the right first stop.
